Driven by a deep passion for educational equity and innovation, Rohit Tandon is dedicated to empowering organizations with strategic solutions that create measurable and lasting impact for students, educators, and communities nationwide.

With over 25 years of experience in corporate and education strategy, I specialize in leading large-scale, mission-driven initiatives that expand access, equity, and success for learners at all levels. My expertise spans postsecondary education, K-12 policy, philanthropy, and cross-sector partnerships, with a proven ability to align stakeholders, secure funding, and deliver scalable solutions that address systemic challenges to create sustainable change.

My work isn’t just about programs; it’s about rewiring systems to ensure every learner thrives. Throughout my career, I have successfully led national programs that have expanded educational access for underserved communities and developed scalable models to increase diversity in higher education faculty. My efforts have resulted in securing multimillion-dollar funding and forging strategic partnerships with leading educational institutions and organizations.

I believe education is the ultimate force multiplier and I am deeply committed to advancing equitable opportunities in education—whether through policy redesign, institutional capacity-building, or cutting-edge technology-enabled tools to transform education. My work is rooted in the belief that systemic change requires collaboration, evidence-based strategies, and unwavering focus on measurable outcomes. Whether optimizing a university system’s operations or co-designing tools that leverage AI to transform education, I’m obsessed with removing barriers—so potential isn’t limited by zip code, race, or income.

Before founding PrastaraED, I served as Principal at edBridge Partners, where I played a pivotal role in helping K-12 and higher education institutions, membership organizations, and philanthropic foundations achieve their missions and improve student outcomes. My experiences prior to that include senior leadership roles at The College Board, PBS/WNET, Deutsche Bank, Charles Schwab, and Jupiter Media Metrix.  I hold an MBA in International Management with honors from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business and a B.S. in Economics from Carnegie Mellon University. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), I am also a recognized expert and a frequent speaker at national education conferences.
